Review: The Black Lion by Elodie Parkes

Melissa is out to party with some friends from her new work, when she runs straight into Sasha in the nightclub. He steals her breath away and makes her want to do dirty things with (and to) him. She hopes he will come over to her, so when he disappears from the club a little later, she is disappointed.
Sasha has never met anyone so beautiful and catching as Melissa. He can’t shake her image from his mind. When another lay claims on her and boast what he will do to her before ending her life, he only sees one way; to rescue her, take her away from the club before the other man can harm her. But rescuing her leads to a set of new temptations, and suddenly Sasha finds himself falling fast, just like Melissa is.
Will their budding love be able to blossom before the jealousy from a bystander crushes it?
I absolutely loved The Black Lion. A sweet romance sprinkled with amazing sex. There are secrets, action, sweet torture and giggles. I felt myself being swept up by the story, it simply refused to let me go until I was done. I fell for Melissa and for Sasha. Both of them have secrets, both of them are afraid that their secret will make the other run away, and both are unwilling to let the other go.

Elodie wrote an amazing and sweet story and I can’t wait to read more from her!

When Melissa fleetingly meets Sascha in a nightclub, she hopes he will approach her.
Sascha has secrets and it’s a long time since there was a woman in his life.
Unknown to both of them someone watches jealously.
Will this jealousy stop the budding romance between two people who both have something to hide?
An erotic, paranormal romance, full of surprises.
